SUMMARY:The Spirit of the Great Auk with Jay O'Callahan
DESCRIPTION:O'Callahan's stirring drama is inspired by the real-life odyssey of Dick Wheeler's four-month 1,500-mile kayak journey from Newfoundland to Buzzard's Bay, Massachusetts. Wheeler was retracing the journey of the now-extinct Great Auk bird. Newfoundland fishermen warned Wheeler that the fish in the Grand Banks were disappearing. In Jay's story, those fishermen warn that the fish are disappearing from the sea. A question-to-answer session with Jay, the storyteller, and Dick, the kayaker, follows the performance.

Admission: General $15, Senior 60 + $10, Student with ID $5.
